About 5 minutes, online. A licensed provider takes it from there.
Here's how Prio One works. You start by answering a quick medical questionnaire online, which takes about five minutes, with no appointment and no waiting room. Those questions help us understand whether estrogen-free birth control is a good fit for you. You will be introduced to your licensed provider that will review your answers and if they decide that estrogen free is the right fit for you then they will move forward to sending your prescription to our pharmacy partners.
We also check your eligibility for insurance coverage and work with the pharmacy to get prior authorization for your medication to make sure you are getting the best price possible for your new treatment.
If estrogen-free birth control is the right fit for you, your prescription review is $30 and your first month of medication is $0. From there your subscription renews every three months — from $39, depending on your insurance coverage. If you choose delivery, your medication ships to your door every three months in a plain, discreet mailer, and you can pause or cancel anytime.

If you chose home delivery through our partner pharmacy Carepoint, your order ships in a plain, discreet mailer, so nothing on the outside gives it away. Carepoint will send you your tracking and subscription details live in your patient portal, and Carepoint will reach out with updates along the way.
For anything about packaging, shipping, tracking, or refills, message the pharmacy directly from your patient portal, they handle delivery from start to finish, so that's the fastest way to get an answer. Patients using their own pharmacy contact that pharmacy directly.
We check whether your plan covers your medication, and your price is based on what's covered. If anything additional is needed, the pharmacy will reach out to you directly to help get it sorted.
If you have government insurance (Medicaid, Medicare, VA, TRICARE), you can still use Prio One: federal rules don't allow savings offers, and we never bill government insurance — refills are then available at the $119 cash price.
Your prescription review is $30. You authorize it at checkout, and it's charged once your consultation is complete. If you qualify, your first month of medication is free through Carepoint home delivery.
From your second supply, your medication is billed by your pharmacy every three months, and your price depends on your coverage: $39 if your insurance covers the medication, $59 if it covers part of it, or $119 if you pay without insurance. The $59 and $119 prices are capped by a manufacturer savings card. Your exact price is confirmed before any charge, so you always know what to expect.

That's a fair question, and an important one to ask. Our Privacy Policy spells out exactly what we collect, who has access to it, and how it's kept secure, so you can see exactly how your information is handled from the moment you sign up. If you have any specific concerns, feel free to reach out anytime at support@prio-one.com.
Your subscription is yours to control. If you chose home delivery through our partner pharmacy Carepoint, you can pause, reschedule, or cancel anytime through your patient portal. That's also where your refills and delivery live, so you can manage everything, shipping address, billing, and timing, all in one place. Patients using their own pharmacy manage refills with that pharmacy directly.
For anything regarding your medication, how you're feeling since starting treatment, or whether it's still the right fit for you — your treating provider is the best person to ask. With Prio One, you'll stay connected to that same provider throughout your care, so they can follow how you are reacting to the treatment over time.
You can stay in contact with your provider directly in the portal.
If a page won't load, a button won't work, or you can't sign in, let us know what's happening and we'll get it fixed. Email us at support@prio-one.com with as much detail as possible so we can help as best as we can.
If you didn't find what you were looking for, email us at support@prio-one.com.
